How to find Us
From the South and West of England
Head over the Severn Bridge westwards on the M4 towards Carmarthen.
At Carmarthen take the Cardigan road via the Carmarthen bypass initially signposted Llandeilo. Travel on to Cardigan via Newcastle Emlyn.
From Cardigan head North on the A487 road towards Aberystwyth.
Pass the large yellow pub called The Gogerddan Arms. You will enter the village of Tan-Y-Groes. About half a mile further on as you leave the village turn left opposite the Emlyn Café and follow the lane down the hill.
NB. The only sign for this lane is a small sign for Fedwen Pine. Esgair Llyn is on the right as you come down a hill into a small hamlet of stone properties. Esgair Llyn is clearly marked. Please park on the graveled area just in front of the House Sign.
From the North
Take the A487 south of Aberystwyth.
Ignore the first turning for signposted Tresaith after the turning for Penbryn .
As you enter the village of Tan-Y-Groes there is a small lane on the right just before The Emlyn Café on your left.
Follow the lane down the hill as in NB above.
Visitors from the Midlands may wish to use a route finder of their choice to find the most direct route across country and follow directions to the A487 south towards Tresaith.
Google map will often direct you to the Severn Bridge first!
This is not necessarily the quickest, most direct or scenic route!
